Du 10/11/2017 au 10/11/2017

Domaine de Rockefeller - 8 Avenue Rockefeller, 69008 Lyon, FRANCE

We are delighted to present the conclusions of our international consensus on the diagnosis of GERD in the beautiful and historic city of Lyon, France, on November 10th, 2017.

Since 2014, an international group of esophageal experts have discussed and debated the current understanding of GERD pathophysiology, reflux testing guidelines and classification of esophageal motor findings at several international meetings. The consensus process was supported by the Working Group for Gastrointestinal Motility and Function, through a grant from the United European Gastroenterology (UEG).

The conclusions from this consensus will be presented by outstanding international speakers who participated to the consensus process. Additionally, the meeting will focus on the future of GERD testing and the research needed to further facilitate GERD diagnosis.

Well-known for its gastronomy and wine, Lyon is the opportune location to welcome a meeting on GERD. Located at the confluence of two rivers (Rhône and Saone), the city is proud of its 2000 years of history. The Renaissance Old City in Lyon is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Lyon was the capital of Gaul during Roman times, and was also an important area for the production of silk. Today, Lyon is France’s second city, a vibrant international metropolis mixing heritage with modernity. You will enjoy your stay in Lyon, a city that never leaves anyone indifferent.

We hope to welcome you to Lyon for our meeting on GERD: Guidelines on Esophageal Function Testing and Interpretation!
